We take your privacy seriously - here's how we protect your data

Look, we get it - nobody actually enjoys reading privacy policies. But we're not about hiding stuff in legal jargon. At Krythion Empire Fitness, your trust matters just as much as your training.
We've laid out everything in plain English so you know exactly what info we collect, why we need it, and how we keep it safe. We're as serious about protecting your data as we are about protecting your gains.
Running a high-performance gym means we need some info to keep things running smooth. Here's what we collect:
When you sign up or book a session, we grab your name, email, phone number, and address. Pretty standard stuff - can't really train you without knowing who you are, right?
This one's important. We collect medical history, injury records, fitness goals, current fitness levels, and any dietary restrictions you've got. Our coaches need this to keep you safe and design programs that actually work for YOUR body. We're not gonna put someone with a bad shoulder through heavy overhead work without knowing about it first.
Credit card details, billing address, membership plans - the usual. We use secure payment processors, so your card info doesn't just sit on our servers gathering dust.
Check-in times, class attendance, personal training sessions, facility usage patterns. Helps us understand what's working and what needs tweaking. Plus, it keeps track of your progress.
Any emails, messages, or feedback you send our way. Sometimes there's gold in those conversations that helps us improve.
We're not collecting your info just for kicks. Here's what we actually do with it:
We're not selling your data to sketchy marketing companies. Period. But there are a few situations where we share info:
Payment processors, email platforms, scheduling software - the tech that keeps us running. They only get what they need to do their job, and they're bound by contracts to keep it secure.
If the law says we gotta hand over info, we will. Court orders, subpoenas, regulatory requests - we're not breaking the law to protect data.
Medical emergency? We're sharing relevant health info with paramedics or hospital staff. Your life's more important than paperwork.
If Krythion Empire gets acquired or merged (hey, you never know), your info might transfer to the new owners. We'd make sure they respect your privacy too.
Wanna share your transformation story? Cool. But we'll always ask first before using your name, photos, or testimonials publicly.
We take security seriously - like, Olympic-level-lifting-with-proper-form seriously.
Look, no system's 100% bulletproof. But we're doing everything reasonable to keep your data locked down tight.
It's YOUR data. Here's what you can do with it:
Wanna see what we've got on file? Just ask. We'll send you a copy of your personal data within a reasonable timeframe.
Changed your email? New phone number? Health condition updated? Let us know and we'll fix it immediately.
Want out? You can request deletion of your data. We'll honor that unless we're legally required to keep certain records (like financial transactions for tax purposes).
Don't wanna get our emails anymore? Hit that unsubscribe button or tell us directly. We'll stop. You'll still get essential stuff like billing notifications and safety updates though.
In some cases, you can ask us to limit how we use your data. We'll work with you on that.
Moving to another gym? (We'd hate to see you go, but we get it.) You can request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Yeah, we use cookies. Not the protein kind - the digital tracking kind.
Website visits, pages viewed, how long you stick around, what device you're using. Helps us understand what people actually care about on our site.
To improve user experience, remember your preferences, analyze traffic patterns. If everyone's bouncing off a certain page, we know something's wrong.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can do that, but some features might not work as smoothly. Your call.
Our services are designed for adults and teens 13+. If you're under 18, we need parental consent before collecting any personal information.
We've got youth programs for combat sports and athletic development, but we always work with parents or guardians. If we discover we've accidentally collected data from a kid under 13 without proper consent, we'll delete it ASAP.
Parents - if you've got questions about what info we collect from your teen, hit us up. We're happy to walk through everything.
We don't keep your data forever. Here's the breakdown:
After retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize the data. No point keeping old files hanging around.
We're based in Vancouver, BC, but some of our service providers might be located outside Canada. Your data could be processed in the United States or other countries where our tech vendors operate.
When that happens, we make sure those providers have adequate security measures and comply with applicable privacy laws. We're not shipping your data to sketchy overseas servers with zero protection.
By using our services, you acknowledge that your data might be transferred internationally as described. If that's a dealbreaker for you, let's talk about alternatives.
Things change. Technology evolves, laws get updated, and we might add new services. When we update this privacy policy, we'll let you know.
For minor changes (fixing typos, clarifying language), we'll just update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
For major changes that affect how we handle your data, we'll give you proper notice - email, in-gym signage, whatever it takes. We won't pull a fast one on you.
It's worth checking back here occasionally to stay in the loop. Or don't - we'll reach out if something important changes.
Got questions? Concerns? Wanna exercise your privacy rights? We're here for it.

You can also swing by the gym in person. Front desk staff can point you to the right person for privacy-related stuff. We'll respond to your request within 30 days max, usually way faster.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle your privacy concern, you've got the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. But honestly, let's talk first - we're pretty reasonable people.

We're serious about your privacy because we're serious about respect. You're trusting us with your health, your goals, and your personal info. That's not something we take lightly.
Train hard, know your rights, and don't hesitate to reach out if something doesn't sit right. We're here to build empires, not burn bridges.
